Bioscientific Solutions staff is able to provide an array of biosecurity, incursion response and eradication services to help national lead programs through council programs to smaller scale house requests. Our teams history is specifically tailored towards working with invasive pests as they arrive in New Zealand. Bioscientific Solutions Ltd is able to scientifically assess a threat to New Zealand, analyse risk and biological characteristics and then design and execute an operational response specifically customised to effectively eliminate it using national and international best practice methods.
Dr Browne is the longest established mosquito specialist in New Zealand and has worked at all levels of surveillance, control and eradication (from home owner biting to governmental eradication). This skillset has split over into chironomid midge surveillance and control.

We currently work on biosecurity programs with in New Zealand as well as run them throughout the Pacific and Melanesian region We have a high level of experience in the operational management of on the ground incursion response to several highly invasive species, including the southern Australian saltmarsh mosquito, Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus, red imported fire ant, Giant African Snail, and several other invasive ant species.
